| Photo Essay |
This photo wasn't taken by me, but by a close friend of mine. This is just outside her father's home village, Águas de Moura.
And now you say: "It's another photo of a road!". Yes, but it's different.
This road doesn't go on forever, it takes a turn right after it starts. Like our life, which is made of turns and twists. Sometimes we even go back, not in time since it's not possible, but our opinions, our decisions, our way of being goes back sometimes. For the better or for the worse.
The sun shines on the beginning of this road, but it won't always shine. At some points it won't shine so brightly or it won't shine at all. But don't give up Road! You are surrounded by the most beautiful nature, the most beautiful flowers and trees, and even by wonderful people who, like you, are on the road of their lives and are surrounded by the ones they love.
The future is unpredictable. How many twists and turns you'll make are unpredictable. The end is unpredictable.
Just like this road.
But never give up walking down it. |

I like your "reflection"...it's something like a poetical text because you talk about a road as if it was a person!! :D
