Home
It’s not hard for me to tell you what home is and why it’s so important to me. My home is basically where all of my childhood memories are.
When I was little, I used to play in this huge garden that existed behind our house.
I can also remember going with my brother to the street near our house where we played football, and rode together on the same bicycle. I wasn’t afraid to get lost; we could always see the red roof-tile looming above the green field that’s still around to this day. I wouldn’t mind going back in time but, I wouldn’t change anything. I was very happy and still am…
When I was eight years old, and my brother was eleven, my parents took into consideration the fact that we were growing up and there was a shortage of space so, they rebuilt our house and today, everyone has their own room. Fortunately for me, because as a girl, I couldn’t share the same room with my brother for the rest of my life. These days, my privacy is an important part of my happiness.
I also remember being twelve and breaking my arm while skating. This is a memory I wish I did not have.
I’ve kept some good memories of my old house but I have to confess that my large and comfortable room is much nicer than the old one. I know I shouldn’t be so superficial, but remodelling the house was not only a way to increase the value of the property but also a way to improve our way of living.
Our neighbours are like family, literally. Across the street, I have a lot of uncles, cousins and my mum’s grandparents. When we need something, everybody comes to our help. But sometimes, this can be a little annoying because even when we don’t want them to know something about our lives, they always end up knowing it.

Cosplay Part 2
Hi there! Firstly, I'd like to thank you all for the entusiasm you showed over cosplay! It really means a lot. =)

Just a quick update on my list.

For last Carnival (20th February) I cosplayed Mulan, from Disney! As you can see, you can cosplay anything you like.

That kimono was a pain to do. =P We even had our own Disney princesses group, I'm sure you'll recognize them.

From left to right: Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Mulan, Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Snow White (Snow White and the Seven Dwarves) and Belle (Beauty and Beast).

It was much fun when little kids would come to us to take pictures. =D

And now, I'm doing this one:

Maria Renard from the game Castlevania Symphony of the Night.

Wish me luck! =P

HoMe

I think Home has different meanings, because it represents different things to each one of us. It can be a feeling, a thought, a memory, a person or a group of people. I think Home means happiness, because when we think about it, normally we don-t think of something bad. In my opinion, it has a positive connotation.
Some may think of home as a place. A house where they used to live when they were children and where they grew up, representing their childhood. Home can also be a person we love, for example, when we move to another country, and then we may think of home as the place where our family is and where we hope to return to someday.
In my case, Home has a high sentimental value. It isn’t just a simple word that I use to describe the place where I live. When I hear the word Home, most of the time, I think about my friends and my family, specially my friends. Of course I love my family, but for me Friendship is one of the most important things in the world. And I can say that when I remember the best moments of my life, my friends were always there. So, for me, Home isn’t just a place. As long as I’m with my friends, I’m Home, since they are the ones I like to be with. I feel comfortable and happy when I’m with them. Above all, Home is where I like to be. And I like to be with my friends, because with them I feel safe and happy.
In the future, I will may think of Home as the place where I live now and where I grew up and met most of my friends. Then, maybe this word will also have different meanings, but I think it will always represent some kind of happiness, in a certain moment of my life.

HOME

Someone once said that Home is where the heart is. I would say that home is the place where we want to be or the people we want to be with. It is not only a word, but it may be a feeling, a thought, a memory. It isn't just something material.
For me, Home means happiness. Is where you like to be, is where you feel safe and most yourself.
As the picture suggests, home is when we are with the ones we like. Those ones who make us feel better, who makes us smile and laugh. The ones who make us happy.
